Who is allowed to kill? January 28th 2010
Snow is quietly coming down from the sky and temperature is low – the Russian winter –I am back in Minsk. The winter isn´t really a problem here – The whole society is used to it and well prepared and equipped for that. This time I am doing sessions and have a full schedule and I love doing sessions with Russians. It is very easy for me to create contact with clients here and they are really motivated to get the transformation they need in their life. I watched the paper the other day and saw that nine people in Iran have got death penalties for their actions during the protests after the presidential elections last summer. I have no idea of what they have been doing and I am in no position to challenge the verdicts. However it made me think about how different we look at things. I do know that there are monks in Tibet that search the earth for worms when they want to build a new house. When they find a worm they remove it to another place outside the building area to make sure that this worm will suffer no harm and will stay alive. They do this because they believe that otherwise they will have negative karma and will pay for this in a life to come. There exist a number of religions and teachings which regards anything as alive. Human beings are alive. Animals are alive. Trees and vegetation is alive and the planet itself is alive. And because of that they walk respectful and thankful upon the earth while walking. Some ancient teachings say that off course you are allowed to kill and only for food, so they have made rules for that. I got into this idea during my training to become a healer. My history is that I joined the army as a young man and stayed as a soldier for a long period. I left this life as a major and started to educate myself to become a trainer and healer. During this period I adapted the wisdom that everything is alive and sacred. This changed my behaviour quite a lot. In the old days when I had a mosquito inside my sleeping room I just killed it – and today I cant do that any more – instead I need to catch it gently and take it outside the room. Some people will call that crazy off course – well it totally depends of the approach to what is alive and who can take a life. I think this approach to life and what is really sacred will spread more and more out to people all over the planet and I personally will welcome that.
