This morning I walked along the northern coast of Zeeland – an island in Denmark. I was enjoying the morning. A little cold compared with Cyprus but fresh I would say. I was thinking back in time – 20 years back when I had a dream - to live a life on the road. To own what could be inside one big trunk and go from city to city and talk to people, do my healing sessions and teach my seminars. At that time I had no idea of how I would ever be able to accomplish that dream. I was public employed and I was living a very ordinary life like most other people.  Today I am actually living the dream I had at that time. And my question to myself this morning was: How did I do?

How did I go from a dream into reality? It became clear to me – that I have used some steps to come that far and I began to formulate those steps inside my mind. And here they are – may you be inspired and find your steps:

 
1)  Connect to your creativity!
We are living in a time where creativity is needed more than ever. Humanity is facing very big problems and fortunately human beings are creative beings. You may be the next person to come up with the solution to one of the problems and needs of our time and you may even be able to turn that into your business.

The enemy of creativity is the habits. Many people experience that creativity decrease with age. The reason for that may that we do not practice creativity. We get used to things. We follow the same road at work every day. We buy the same kind of dress and see the same people. Briefly spoken - we get used to habits and find our security in that. Training creativity is about how to get new ideas and it is simple. Write down the five most domineering habits in your life. Write it on a piece of paper and start to ask your self – how could I do things differently? Pick each of those habits and find at least three different ways of acting. And then start to make experiments with new ways of acting. You will be surprised of how fast your mind starts to think in new options.

 
2)  What is your Dream?
We have all got a dream of how we would like our life to be if it was possible. Behind that dream we have some very strong passions or values. Those passions or Values are our deepest motivation – the drive in our life. The first thing is to have those values come forward so you can become aware of that.  How do we do that? You just select some areas of you life you would like to work on: could be job, relationship, economy, healthiness or the like.

Then you start to ask questions into your self like: “What is really important to me about a job or what does really mean something to me about a job”? The answers to that will appear as words or short sentences inside your mind and you just write them down. After that you look at the list and rearrange them in the order of priority. The most important value at the top. The second most important goes as number two etc. Do this process with all areas of your life. Then take a break – a day or two for your unconscious mind to work on this. Go back to the values after a few days and check the list – and if necessary you can adjust the list. Then start to think about those values on your list and ask yourself how you can adjust your life to have most of those values fulfilled? Use some days for that process too.

 
3)  Focus on what you want!
An old principle says: “You get what you focus on” So start to focus even more on what you want instead of what you fear or what you don’t like. Look at your dream and your values. And start to think about: How can I get my dream come through?. How can I live a life based on my values? Take the time you need for that and when you have found the answers start to visualize images/goals of what you want. Create the situations where you see yourself in those goals as if they already are a reality.  Then live your self into these situations and feel how it is to achieve what you want. Feel the pleasure of that. Do this with all the goals you have and  do it every day until they come through.  By doing that your energy sends out a message of what you want and starts to attract that.

 
4)  Acknowledge yourself
When you start to visualize your goals on a daily basis and you mind realize that this is serious to you – you really mean it.  Your mind can respond with fear. Acknowledge that.  It does not mean that your new goals are wrong – it means that the mind prefer not to change the old way of thinking. Just acknowledge that and talk gently to your mind and to the old reaction and then tell your mind how many more options you will have by achieving the goals and how much more good you can do for your self and for others when you achieve your goals.

 
5)  Acknowledge other people.
We are all different people with different dreams. And we are in some way all part of each others life and are dependent of one another. So stop blaming others because they are different from you. They have another role to play in the big game. Instead start to look even more towards the talents that other people have and acknowledge that. We have all got both negative and positive sides of our self. When you focus on other peoples positive sides you also assist them to pay more attention to that and that will make them grow and expand their own positive sides even more. Your benefit will be that you start to attract even more positive people into your own life.

 
6)  Give a gift whenever you have a chance. 
Give small money to a poor person! Surprise someone with a gift. Or simply give a compliment to someone. Giving gifts signal to your unconscious mind that you are in a flow of prosperity and that will attract even more prosperity into you own life. Find something you can give from the heart!

 
7)  Live in the Now.
Start to live as if you have already accomplished you goals. Do that step by step and remember that the now is all that excists. You make hundreds of decisions every day And I suggest that each time you are about to make a decision you ask yourself: Will this decision that I am about to make take me towards the life I want. If answer is no – reconsider your decision and if the answer is: Yes then just go ahead and make the decision and act from that. Enjoy you life more and more for each day. Be generous and help other people and respect them for the persons they are.

 
During my morning walk I realised that those assumptions had been my way to achieve my dream and turn it into reality. May you be inspired and find your path to your dream.
