Terror in Oslo
It has been a long time since my last blog. Not that there has been nothing to write about – it has just not fitted into my life.
Right now I am in “NLP Huset” in Copenhagen seeing people for sessions. It is a great pleasure to me every time I visit this center – which Helene and I founded so many years ago. Today the center has been modernized and is taken care of by Business Master Trainer: Lene Bredahl. It appears as a charming place with a wonderful atmosphere of understanding and accept mixed with and an underlying feeling of closeness and sharing.
Helene and I have been around lately. We arrived to Copenhagen from the countryside of Belarus where we were running a Russian Trainers Training for Mihail Mikhail Deznarkovsky, who has been our friend for the last 5 years. The trainer students actually came from all of the Russian spoken area and gave this training a real international atmosphere.
Now we are in Denmark for vacation before we go to Norway to do the Akasha Training in Beitostølen. This is a beautiful yearly event in the mountains.
Talking about Norway – we were in Belarus July 22nd during the terrorist attack in Oslo. We got the news only from online papers.
That kind of events can be seen at several levels. One level is the actual bombing and shooting – a terrible act in itself. Killing and wounding one hundred people. I really offer my condolence to all the people in Norway who lost their loved ones in this awful act of terrorism.
If we look at this event from another chunk level - this event is so much more than a terrorist attack. It took place in the nine wave of the Mayan Calendar. This wave seems to be about uniting people and make us understand how much we are depending on one another.
So how did the Norwegians respond to this event? They united! From the King to the Prime minister and further to the people in Norway. There was no talk about revenge. There was talk about the need to remain an open democracy – take care of each other – include instead of exclude and much more of that. And the leaders of the country were totally backed by the people. It became an amazing demonstration of the values of the new time and I think that we are 7 billions of human beings on this planet who owe the 5 million Norwegians respect and thanks for this lesson on how to deal with violence from terrorists.
They stated an example to be followed by nations all over the world.
