The battle between the Past and the Future!  July 23th

Last night Mr. McCain (Republican candida for the American presidential election) accused Mr. Obama (his opponent from the Democratic Party) for putting political gains before winning the war in Iraq.

I will not comment on the actual struggle between those two men to become the next president of America. They are both qualified for that of course. Otherwise they would never have come that far. 

I find Mr. McCains comment very interesting because in my opinion it represents the Past. It represents something which has been possible. It was possible to win a war with military power in previous times.

 
Mr. McCains speech took place at the same time that Mr. Mbeki (President of South Africa) brokered a deal between Mr. Mugabe (newly re-elected president

of Zimbabwe) and his opponer Mr. Tsvangari – two sworn enemies.  The time up to the presidential election in March in Zimbabwe looked very much like a civil war, and

some Western countries actually talked about a kind of intervention in Zimbabwe and even to hold Mr. Mugabe responsible for crimes against humanity.

 
The only nation in that area with the necessary force to do any kind of intervention is South Africa. However Mr. Mbeki denied doing that – instead he brokered  a deal between the two leaders. A Memorandum of Understanding of how to create a shared government to save the poor country.

This is totally aligned with the predictions in the Mayan Calendar. We are currently moving into another time. The time for Global consciousness is arriving. A time where we will fully understand the old phrase: “If you kill your brother – you kill something of yourself”.

We have a lot of serious problems on this planet and we need to work together to find solutions for those problems. We need people with creativity – people who look for solutions outside the well known and well documented area. And we need political leaders who have the nerves to take long lasting and unpopular decision. 

We live in an abundant Universe and it is time for Humanity to fully wake up and understand that. It is time to learn from history, not replicate it.

Fortunately more and more leaders and citizens actually seem to realize this.
