Thanks! I am fine! 24th November, Jack
I was on
the beach a quarter to six this morning for my usual morning walk. It takes
about an hour and both my body and my soul enjoy this ritual. At that time it
is right between night and day down here. The Sun has not yet come up and the
moon is still on the sky. This morning it was almost full and extremely yellow
– a beautiful sight. The whole sense of the elements: The breeze from the Sea. The
sun arising. The sound and smell from the water just a few feet away and the
sand under my feet. This gave me an intense feeling of connection to something
much bigger than myself.
Later on I
had a few things to do in Larnaca and visited my preferred café for a coffee. Sitting
there – looking on people passing by - I noticed a meeting between to men. They
were in their fifties,
well
dressed and obviously they knew each other. The one said: “Good morning! How
are you” and the other answered back: “I am fine”. This is a usual standard phrase.
But he was not fine. Looking into his face I could see the unconscious pain,
which has been there for so long time that he has got used to it and has
forgotten that it could be different.
I have
noticed that a lot of times. I have met many people who actually feel sad or
depressed or the like. They don’t notice it any more. Life is like being a
little sad – it is normal, they think.
I think
that people deserve better. And to day, it is possible to transform old pain
and heal oneself. The modern
psychological tools that are available to day have long proved to be effective.
No need to take anti depressive pills anymore. The modern tools for personal
development can be learnt to use for one self and you will have strong tools
for transforming your personality. When we get up in the morning we actually
clean our physical body so why should it not be natural to clean the mind too?
There are
so many different options you can learn to do that. And in the end you will be
able to answer the question congruently: “Thanks, I am fine”.
