A crowded warm square! PDF Print E-mail
I am sitting downtown Minsk on a crowded square in front of Jacob Kolbas – a famous Belarusian poet. He looks like an Enneagram 5 – a typical thinker – something I can recognize. It is rush hour and people are in a hurry. There is a big avenue crossing the square and traffic is heavy. A huge Coca Cola add is looking down at me from the tallest building. It is a late hot June afternoon - the first hot day after we have had a cold period with showers. People enjoy it very much and all the benches are full. Belarusian are beer-drinkers and young people around me meet in groups for a chat while having an “after work - go home beer”. Opposite me people are lining up in front of a  theatre and waiting for the doors to open. Young people in this country are very slim and well dressed – not in expensive clothes – but absolutely in modern style. A two year old boy are hunting a pigeon – have I seen this before! Some things are alike all over the planet.

An elderly and very drunk – probably poor man is told to leave the square by two police officers – looking at their faces and eyes I can see no mercy – would they have chosen to be police officers if they had mercy?

Helene and I are in Belarus to work for Makani Coaching Center. We are doing a NLP Master and an Enneagram 2 seminar. This is in corporation with both Makani Coaching Center and Vector Rosta – another coaching Center. We have 35 students enrolled in the master and I must admit that teaching them give me a lot of joy. They are mostly young people who want to use this training to improve on their career and they really focus on getting the best out of it.

We have been around now for quite a while now and are looking very much forward to be back in Cyprus and have some rest before starting our summer training – which is one of the peaks of the year. Sometimes I wonder how I have got used to this life – going from city to city all the time. I don’t know – what I do know is that this has been an integrated part of my life and I would really miss it if I couldn’t .
